Parasitic drag Parasitic drag is drag that results when an object is moved through a fluid medium. In the case of aerodynamic drag, the fluid medium is the atmosphere. Parasitic drag is a combination of form drag, skin friction drag and interference drag. The other components of total drag, induced drag, wave drag, and ram drag, are separate types of drag, and are not components of parasitic drag. Parasitic drag does not result from the induction of lift on the body, hence it is considered parasitic.
Drag coefficient Drag, in the context of fluid dynamics, refers to forces that act on a solid object in the direction of the relative flow velocity (note that the diagram below shows the drag in the opposite direction to the flow). The aerodynamic forces on a body come primarily from differences in pressure and viscous shearing stresses. Thereby, the drag force on a body could be divided into two components, namely frictional drag (viscous drag) and pressure drag (form drag). The net drag force could be decomposed as follows:
Drag cost Just as drag is only found on the critical path, the same is true of drag cost.

Drag-On Drag-On began his own record label "Hood Environment" in 2014. Drag-On launched his website Hood Environment.Com with a series of freestyles and singles. Drag-On has appeared in the 2001 film "Exit Wounds" and the 2003 "Cradle 2 the Grave", both of which stars his then-Ruff Ryders label-mate DMX.
Drag (physics) Lift-induced drag (also called induced drag) is drag which occurs as the result of the creation of lift on a three-dimensional lifting body, such as the wing or fuselage of an airplane. Induced drag consists of two primary components, including drag due to the creation of vortices (vortex drag) and the presence of additional viscous drag (lift-induced viscous drag). The vortices in the flow-field, present in the wake of a lifting body, derive from the turbulent mixing of air of varying pressure on the upper and lower surfaces of the body, which is a necessary condition for the creation of lift.
Skin friction drag Skin friction drag is a component of profile drag that acts on a body in a fluid flow. "Skin friction drag" applies not only to the "skins" of an aircraft but also to flow of fluids within and about any body subjected to a fluid flow. Friction drag begins as laminar drag but may become turbulent drag at some point along the body in the fluid flow direction. Skin friction drag is calculated or measured and is additive with other forms of drag acting on a body.
